Evaluation Criteria

  • Theme parks must be very story-driven.
  • Visitors should be engulfed in a new world.
  • The designer's goal should be to make the visitor believe what they see is real.
  • Good landscape, lighting, and sound that compliments the theme.
  • Visitors experience theme parks in groups - not as individuals.
  • Theme parks should be able to entertain the entire day.

Concept: Thrill Bill

Roller-coaster park in Austin Texas. Has the "Desert" look and feel of the movie. The roller-coasters have speakers in the headrests to pump in music and dialogue clips from the movie. Clips of the movie are shown on LCDs in parts of the roller-coasters to tie in story.

Main Attractions

B.B.'s Getaway - Go-Kart track.

Black Mamba - steel roller-coaster with scenes and soundtrack.

California Mountain Snake - steel roller-coaster with scenes and soundtrack.

Crazy 88 - Giant "swing" ride that holds 88 people.

Legend of Pei Mei - "Spiderman" type ride, combining 3D animation and a moving cart. Tells the legend of Pei Mei and the Shaolin Temple.

Sidewinder - Classic wooden roller-coaster.

Snake Charmer - Inverted steel coaster with scenes.
