- Must be able to make money.
- Must be able to entertain.
- Must present some novelty to type of venue, (in this case, a restaurant.)
Concept: Hanzo Sushi & Teppan Grill
My concept for a retailtainment venue is a sushi and Japanese restaurant themed after Hatori Hanzo, who after a lifetime of swordmaking, settled down as a sushi chef.
Chefs maintain a friendly atmosphere while serving up hot or cold Asian favorites. The decor will mix the styles of old and new Tokyo, while stills from Kill Bill are displayed around the restaurant, and scenes from the movie play on TVs above the bar.
There will also be a store on the way out to buy Kill Bill merchandise, including posters, figurines, and of course, replica Hanzo swords.
